I have had an interesting life, lived and worked in beautiful Greece and one of the last remaining paradises on earth, the Okavango Delta in Botswana. I was on an overland tour through nine African countries in 2009, have met the most amazing and inspiring people in my life, have dined with some of the wealthiest people on this planet and with the less privileged too, got to work with exotic animals and birds, worked as a photographer and travel journalist, as a travel agent and lodge manager and more. I am truly grateful for every experience (good and bad, by the way) in my life up to now.
There was always one issue though: I felt torn between the different worlds I belong to, meaning, I lived for example in Africa but my family was in Germany and I couldn’t be there for them when they needed me! I felt guilty and therefore didn’t enjoy the experiences to the fullest.
My dream, for several years now, has been to have my own business that I can run from anywhere in the world, to be my own boss at my own schedule.
I really wanted my own business and not a job as I have been working so, so hard for other people, making them wealthy but not earning a decent income myself. I knew if I was committed and put the same effort and energy into my own business, then I can only succeed. It was important for me that it is a meaningful business though, that I would help other people along the way, no cold calls and no MLM.
I didn´t have a lot of `technical´ knowledge though, nor did I know anything about marketing.
My wish was heard and I found everything that I had been looking for - and more, such as like minded people, great support, true leaders, advisers and new friends.
I am happy and finally live the life I always wanted to live. |
